Equipment on the Vehicle : We carry all equipment as per the Blue Book specifications outlined by the Motorsport Association(MSA) and as required by the Safety Committee of Motorsport Ireland(MI). The unit carries LUCAS Hydraulic Cutting equipment purchased from Sidhean Teo, Inverin, Co. Galway which is equivalent to what the Fire Brigade carries. We also carry LUCAS Hydraulic powered rams for space making purposes.

Lucas Rescue Equipment

As backup to the powered hydraulic, we carry two Battery operated reciprocating saws and manual hydraulic tools.

On the medical side, we carry a back-board, scoop stretcher, KED(2), RED, Medical Fluids, Giving sets, Airways, Cervical Collars, Oxygen, Entenox, Automated Suction, Pulse Oximeter and a substantial First Aid Kit.

We carry Fire Extinguishers [1 x AFFF (45L), 2 x AFFF(9L), 2 x Powder(9kg), 2 x CO2(6kg)] in case of fire.

We carry ropes, wedges, blocks, hydraulic jacks and a complete tool-kit.

The unit equipment is comparable with most Health Board Ambulances and Fire-Brigade Crash Tenders.
